Not sure where this personality came from, but it seemed as soon as Will turned 8 months, he turned into a clown. He's always been a very curious little guy, but for a while we were starting to wonder what his personality was going to be like, because he seemed so serious...always trying to figure everything out with a furrowed brow. Now he does things all the time to make us laugh - funny faces, laughs, and just being silly. If he does something that makes us laugh, he'll keep doing it and then he'll giggle when we laugh as if he's thinking, "I'm so funny!"
Will does not stay in one place for a second. He isn't crawling quite yet, but he's working really hard...rocking back & forth on those hands and knees. If we lie him on his back, he'll immediately roll over to his tummy. If we put him on his tummy, he gets up on his hands and knees. If we pick him up to hold him he pushes himself off and twists his body around to see anything and everything around him. He especially gets a kick out of our pug, Hank. If he's sitting next to him, he stretches his hand out to pet him (and for some reason, always reaches for Hank's eyes...i guess they are pretty weird looking, so it's only natural!). Hank is really good with him, though, and he'll just look at Will like, "Why do you keep poking me in the eyes?!"
I feel like I say this all the time, but I can't believe how fast these last 8 months have gone. We're having a great time with our little boy, and are enjoying the warm weather...finally! This summer we've got a few trips planned, which will be fun, but we're also looking forward to spending a lot of time at Grammy & Grandpa's (Dave's parents) cabin not too far from here. It'll be fun to take Will on boat rides, and I know Dad & Grandpa are looking forward to taking him fishing when he gets older, too :-)
